Every member of the Republican Workers’ Party is required to pay a membership fee (pledge) to retain their membership in the organisation. The funds gained from these payments help us pay for things such as campaigns, digital infrastructure, printing materials, and a variety of other necessities.
Members are only required to make the minimum monthly amount of $20 to retain their membership, however we recommend members contribute more where they can, according to their current employment status. Full-time and part-time workers recommended pledges are higher than the minimum, and can also be paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
However, if you cannot meet the minimum, you won’t be turned away! Please reach out to your local treasurer or email the National Treasurer at treasurer@rwp.org.au to work out an arrangement. The RWP is a working-class organisation first, and we understand that members may not always be able to always meet their financial obligations. It is not our intention to cause financial burden.
